An Excellent Cloth Diapering Post

This is the Thirsties Duo-Wrap in the "Blackbirds" print.

As most of you are aware, I look forward to the time when I’ll be able to try out cloth diapers on my little one(s).  My interest stems mostly from environmental concerns as well as from cheapness.

Cloth diapering just makes sense to me.

I am going to share a link with you today that is, hands down, the best cloth diapering post I’ve read.  I discovered this blog while the author’s triplets were still in the NICU and I have been hooked ever since.  Yes, you put the pieces together correctly.  Jenny, from What the Blog, is using cloth diapers with her triplets.  So, if you are thinking that you would be overwhelmed by cloth diapers, but are still mildly interested, check out this post.

If you are interested in what a re-purposed hair dryer, a five-gallon bucket, and angel wings have to do with cloth diapering, you should check it out as well.

Jenny, I salute you.  You are amazing.  I can’t believe you are mothering your triplets and taking the time to share detailed information like this with us.  You are clearly doing a remarkable job.

*Jenny uses pre-folds with Thirsties Duo-Wrap covers, which is why I have one pictured at the top of this post.  This also happens to be an adorable diaper cover, so I happen to love it as well.  There is no excuse for a frumpy diaper cover.

I, too, look forward to the day when the title of your post is “Cloth Diapers are Great — but Messy!”, and you detail the joy of changing poopy diapers for your little ones. I believe that day is coming, and I’m here to celebrate it with you.

(Thank you for your very sweet comment on my post).

Oooohhhhhh I love it when people talk about cloth. I am a cloth diaper mama too….and I LOVE the Thirsties due diaper covers! They worked great on my daughter when she was a newborn! I will be so excited when you have your baby (ies) and I can share some of my great CD tips…cuz I also love AIOs’ hybrids and some fun pockets!

Hey! We have that cover! It’s ridiculously adorable, plus it’s one of the less spendy kinds, so that’s a win-win in my book. Thanks for the linkage and CD love! <3
