About

My husband and I are best friends.  We cook together, we travel together, we love life, together.  We’ve been together since the summer of ’97 and we were married on September 9, 2000.  We’ve each lived in Europe (my husband while in the Army and myself when I studied in France), so travel and culture are important to us.  We feel very lucky to still be in love and we always look forward to the time we spend together.  After over a decade of fertility treatment, loss and more tears than I could ever count, we welcomed our son into our lives on February 1st, 2012.  We became parents to our son, Rocky by a private adoption within our family.   It has been the biggest roller coaster but most fantastic ride of our lives thus far.

I am also a teacher, a chef of comfort food, a photographer and a wannabe writer.

Thanks for following along and supporting me in this journey.  I look forward to connecting with you.  I love getting comments.  That’s how I know you are here!  So please, chime in so that we join hands, blah, blah, blah and all that jazz.

You must add Snowsisters to those who might want to read this sweet blog! I already welcomed you to our sisterhood on yahoo, but wanted to say it again right here to you and all your pollywogs! From one (wannabe) writer to another, keep your great creative spirit up, and we are all here for you along the way…xo

I didn’t realize your Placing Parents were in the Bay Area, too. Bay Area as in San Francisco-ish, CA? So are ours! Perhaps we can connect the two of them together!
